# Yay we got SOC 2 for the holidays

Just in time for the end of the year when people are rushing to finish things off, our gift to you is (drumroll please)... SOC 2 compliance!

Head to [trust.cipherstash.com](https://trust.cipherstash.com) and download the SOC 2 Type 1 report. You know you want to! You can also see information about the various controls that support achieving this milestone. We’re now rolling into the observation period for SOC 2 Type 2.

For our current and future customers, this means that it’s easier to onboard CipherStash. I’d like to thank Claire from [AssuranceLab](https://www.assurancelab.cpa/) for being an extremely responsive audit partner and the team at [Vanta](https://www.vanta.com/) for their support. We were already relying heavily on automation for our engineering practices, so being able to automate the response to 177 controls was a great fit with how we work. We’ll be sharing more about how we approached the compliance part of our security program in another post.

Getting to this point has been a team effort and everyone at CipherStash has contributed to getting this certification. Onwards to 2025!
